I am very happy w/the megaphone compared to the slash-cut stock stubby, I can live w/the megaphone's noise. I think you still should use earplugs to save your hearing. From 20 years of sitting under a Whelan multi-tone electronic siren and a truck airhorn in close-proximity on fire-rescue vehicles from an ambulance to pumpers, to an aerial platforn, my hearing has suffered. :confused2:

Nothing more harsh and downright offensive than a Kerker 4-2-1 fitted with a Boss Hoss can that I heard at Kyles' place and that was just in the driveway! At full song it had to be painful. I do love the Dragstar turn out 4-2-1 in black for looks but have no idea what it does for HP. North Royalton was just a rock throw away from my hometown, Elyria OH. Good thing I moved away. I'd be broke and Jon would be enjoying a yacht on Lake Erie!

Actually it came-from the Mission District in San Francisco, CA, not-far from what used-to be-called, "Army Street," but is now re-named after Cesar Chavez the deceased grape-unionist.
