Im looking to change out my gauge lights and my headlight. Who has the best price on hid headlight kit and gauge bulbs. Im looking for plug and play set up.
did you look into COPRUNNER's brighter gauges mod that uses superbrightleds.com's bulbs? look at my signature, I have the blues. didn't cost me but maybe 15 bucks. they offer all kinds of colors. as far as HIDs, looks like most of the guys are running DDMoto's (spelling?) taillight: have you considered the jadeiah's CBR600 mod, or madcmb's mod? i did the cbr600, didn't cost me more than 65 bucks. or are you looking for a bolt-on?
I called the dealer and he wouldent give me the bulb size. said he's not aloud to. well i gess i wont buy from dexter's in adrian michigan anymore. I have spent around $10000 with them in the past.
honestly, a sylvannia silverstar ultra works awesome in my bike. yea its not the brightest thing ever but is much brighter than any stock setup. and the install is pretty damn easy. just plug and play.
The LED mods, courtesy of cop runner, are a grat and easy mod.
I have the Exactrep Cybermax headlight, while it looks cool to me the light output is horrible, even bumping the bulbs up to 100 watts each it isn't really suitable for night riding, other people can damn sure see you coming but the actual light pattern it puts down is not good at all since the light modules are just driving lights and maybe not even driving lights but fog light lenses perhaps...
ok the superbrightled part number is 74-xHP3. the "x" will be replaced with a different letter depending on the color. for example, blue=74-BHP3 or green=74-GHP3. there's a couple of threads on this topic: COP RUNNER's original post on the matter and YukonerDave's how-to. In one of them I collocated all the different colors into one post I recommend getting four: 2 for the speedo, 1 for the temp, and 1 for the tach
Hey Mike, the second tail light you listed is the same one me and Wildman has. We got them from motorcycle mods.com, you have to do a little cutting on the inner fender shell for fitment but it was pretty easy. I have the red led and Bill has the white led, you should be familiar with the looks of both of them for the amount of time you spent behind us trying to keep up :rofl_200:just kidding, I couldn't resist. It did take a little longer then I expected to get it shipped to me but I guess he is a one man show, it took a couple weeks. With the weather we have now I doubt 2 weeks is going to be a problem :snow:
2fear the funny is I new it was coming before I could read it. You guys did pull on me by a lot last year. But I did get a vary good look at your light.
