Hello,
I took my bike out for a ride after yesterday after replacing one valve gasket (as it was leaking slightly). The bike has been standing for a few months, and after launching I noticed I was not getting full power. Upon investigation, it turned out to be a spark problem on one of the cylinders. I had it before so decided to take ICU out (previously found a cracked soldering joint on the ICU plug PBC). I removed the air filter covers and found disturbing residue of oil mixed with what looks like a cooling liquid under the breather cover. Photo attached.
This looks serious to me, but perhaps you could lend me your expertise. Not sure if this is something I should worry about.
I ordered a compression tester kit today, perhaps this will give me some more clues.

Many thanks for any input

Are you loosing any coolant from the overflow tank and/ or is any being displaced from the overflow pipe?
If not then what you may be seeing is an emulsion due to condensation mixing with the oil.
While it was standing did you start the bike without riding it? This is a good way to allowcondensation to form as the oil does not get sufficiently hot to boil off the water.

Assuming that the coolant level stays the same then I'd clean out the airbox and mark the coolant level then go for a nice log ride.
Next day check to see if you have lost any coolant and have a peak inside the aibox to see if the emulsion has returned.

I would be surprised if it is yes to one and no to the other.
