You guys are making me really want an 05 bad. I'm already looking...:biglaugh:

Dyork3rd ---Nicest I've owned too and definitely the fastest!

Spec Ops --- I've seen a couple on E-bay with pretty low miles but they seem to be asking a lot for them with not many extras. Good luck and I'll keep an eye open for any good deals.

Matt---Thanks! I'm sure having fun on it and that's the back rest I got from you. Wife loves it!

THis is for u SpecO I remember you were looking at gen2's :p

Add me to the list :wink2: #920.

I dislike red and I usually do not like flames but I found this bike in good condition so I had to have it. Now im liking the ghost flames and the red.:biglaugh:.

Originally I was set on getting a gen2 but considering the price and cost for upgrades i can wait.

To do list

Rear tire
Jet kit
Exhaust

I like the red color, I'm not a fan of the flames. I wish they would have kept it all solid red like the fenders.

I'm going to look at one as soon as the weather breaks. All stock except for the exhuast,
a bit over 5,000 miles on it and in beautiful condition. Can't wait to see it in person!

Is that a stock exhaust? It looks like stock but I have never seen end caps on a stock exhaust, sure adds a nice look to the exhaust.

Somebody was selling end caps like those a while back. They look Great but I believe the cost was pretty high....

I won them on eBay for $200 the guy who makes them lives in Canada and is a member on this site

I bought mine last April from a gentleman in Kansas. Rode it home to Denver in nice freezing cold weather. iIwas GLAD to stop for gas every 120 miles to get a cup of coffee. I've put a couple of thousand miles on it since then.

# is 101.

What say you on doing slight mods to this bike- will it decrease any collectable value? I've heard the first 100 were offered only to collectors?

Anyway, it is a hoot to ride- although the '85 Kawasaki 750Turbo I have seems to be quicker. The power delivery is smoother on the VMax, so it's probably just a seat of the pants feeling fooling me.:biglaugh:

As far as value, it is what it is IMO, it's just a Vmax... I'm doing slight mods to mine and keeping all the stock parts to return it to stock form if needed.

yep, I get it. Already did some chrome pieces. sure would like to know the dude who does the muffler caps as seen in the photos above. the look sweet.

Hands down the best looking stock exhaust I have seen on the Vmax! Amazing what those end caps do for the looks of the exhaust, nice find.
