we're tring to see if there is a pattern to the vin numbers to see if we can figure out if the vin order matches up with the badge numbers

well the two cdn bikes are one serial number apart and one badge number apart....
we need more to find the pattern.
also check gang if u have a cdn or usa bike. think diff is a y or w......atleast my two bikes varry in that way
I beleive pateren stays with usa or cdn delivery

Hi, I am in North East England and have 0869/2000.

It was first registered in late 2004, one owner from new and 3000 miles on the clock.:biglaugh:.

Maybe the badges were'nt placed on the bikes in any specific order. I would like to know how many of the original 2000 are still on the road. And what is the production numbers on other years?

Judging from Bill Kratzenberger numbers and counting backwards from his 089962 and his 0739 plate. My 089223 would equal an 0012 of 2000. Seems the US bikes all have 08 in the serial number and the Canadian ones start with 03. Just guessing but guess there is no way to know for sure. Mine was a very early sales date (June of 2004) so mine could have that low of a plate number. I'm going to go with this unless some other member has 0012 of 2000.
