Won't start! Help!!!!

Okay, I have recently replaced the throttle tube on the handlebar and the gauge pod on top of the fake tank.....and now the bike won't start! It cranks...but just won't start. And it started and ran fine before I switched the parts.

Any ideas????

Go through and start checking electrical connections, something came unplugged or you have some switched up would be my guess.

If you are saying it cranks, you must mean it cranks jumping the solonoid. Check to see if you have the single wire plugged back into the solonoid switch.

Check for spark.

Well, I found the problem! I don't know what brand of spark plug wires are on my bike, but each one has a separate braided stainless steel (?) line on each one. I'm assuming its a ground. Anyway, one of these wires and had sandwiched between the scoop and the frame when I tightened down the scoop after installing the new gauge pod. I pulled the scoop off, pulled out the wire....and it started right up!

Sounds like Nology plug wires......
