Does anyone know the site that has a kit for making the air scoops workable? I use to have it but lost it somehow I know there is a kit for doing this thanks.

Do a search here - someone did post a thread about these last year.

The end result, though, was that it was a helluva lot of work and cash for very little precious gain, other than the satisfaction of knowing air was going through.

That has to be the webs SLOWEST site... DUDE It's vmax related! Make it lightning fast!

I give this guy props for designing this system. It's a but rube goldberg but I'm sure it works OK. I can just see too many areas for issues. Like removal and install... Ugh...

thinking about the K&N filter system each carb has own filter. Just seems that these bikes are not set up right some things need changed air flow is one, braces, ect...
not use to building bikes I have done the other end. Muscle cars are my thing getting lots of horse power out of a small block... last one I built I had 502 horsepower at the tire out of a 327 chevy small block no nos gas, no turbo I just need to think smaller I guess but a engine is an engine they are all the same when it comes to need.
thanks for replys

To use individual filters you'll need to have air correctors in the carbs. Just get Sean Morley's kit.

He goes by one2dmax.

I'm going to guess lots of compression, very good aftermarket ported/polished heads, large cam (with a sacrifice in idle quality), probably roller cam/lifters, would think not stock bore maybe not even stock crank (stroker?), good intake (though probably a tall single plane with top end focus, and the rating is probably at the flywheel and not rear wheels though I could be wrong.

He said RWHP...

I see that now. Would be curious too. would about have to be sky high compression or a lot of stuff done to a 327 block that is not a 327 anymore.

The scoops idea is cool - but it doesn't appear to be have any real gain.
I think I could spend my money on some more `directly`beneficial mods...
