That is news to me. I always use factory OEM parts on my Max and have had no problems. Particularly if you do carb work. I have had poor results using Keyster and K&L carb kits on other bikes.

My carbs were just re built with all OEM parts, they would only use that but for this they are saying no go. They know a lot more than me, well sso do all of you

'bout that clicking noise, I also think it's most likely to be the speedo cable. Try removing it altogether and go for a ride, see if it still clicks..

??? Explain please?

I know jack all whats going on with bikes here so... cannot tell if people are making fun or serious

oh, simple:

- under the speedo there's a cable, unscrew its fitting and remove it (you'll prolly need pliers)

- follow the cable, and it will take you near the centre of the front wheel, on the left, where you will find an identical fitting. Again, unscrew it, then remove the whole cable.

Take the bike for a ride. If it doesn't click anymore, it's your speedo cable making the clicking noise. If it still does, then you know it's not the speedo cable.
