Yeah, cagers seem to be getting worse. i haven't been out on my bike in forever. Using my vacation to finally get some work on the carbs done. I notice it though when I'm just driving about. Saw someone yesterday half in the shoulder, half in the lane for like 4 miles.

Just prep'ed my area for pulling my carbs. Just need to order the extra parts for the carb rebuild and actually remove the carbs from the bike.

A complete tear down is something I'm about to start. Bike has run for almost a year now. Shotgun method didn't work.

Awesome, thanks for keeping us posted. I just now read through the thread. The Tach gets its signal from the firing of the second cylinder in on an older vmax and from the 3 third cylinder on the newer ones if I recall correctly.
