Just wanted to share wit you guys my restoration of my MAX!! these are the before pictures I got from Keith ( one I bought it from)

Some of you might have saw my other threads but incase you didnt heres the things I did...

-Sealed gas tank with POR15 (removed rust and old Creme)
-Painted engine with Eastwoods Cermanic engine paint
-Repainted bike black with Napa urathene topcoat :punk:
-Bought 05 triple tree/forks wish progressive springs/and calipers off of Kyle :clapping:
-Bought 93 rotors from to the max for $20
-Polished alllllllll the Aluminum that I could... wow that was fun :bang head: but looks 10x better and its gonna be fun keeping it nice looking :damn angry:
- Installed CBR integrated tail light and replace rear reflector with brake light
- Custom liscense plate holder with LED's to light it up
- Not done yet but have blue LED engine and ground lights
- Radiator grill and scoop inserts from Ebay
- Crash gaurds on order

NEXT INVESTMENTS FOR THE MONKEY..
- Chrome allen bolts for engine
- MAXGASSER
- Black Bug shield
- 200 or 210 rear tire and 110/80-18 front tire



So what do you guys think????????? im very happy with it looks 1000000000000 x better. I emailed pictures to previous owner because he loved the bike but didnt care about looks

Don't go for chrome bolts... Use polished stainless...

They rust easy? Good thing I didn't order because I almost did friday it was gonna be 70 bucks

Bahaha money talks! You going on spring ice breaker ride I hope!

I don't think I will make it up there for the ride. But I may be passing through the nearby area on Friday night so I may just stop and introduce myself. The ride looks like it will be fun. A very scenic route has been picked.

Thanks guys!!! Not to bad for a small messy garage at my dads and while his ultra classic was ripped apart.. its not perfect but all I've gotten was compliments from friends.

Looks good. We have both the polished and chrome engine bolt kits. I'm out currently but need to get some back on hand which usually doesn't take long.

how much to do each side of the engine?

Looks Great, I'm a little Jealous of that 1260 Motor and Chain Drive.

Great Job!! The engine really pops. How does it run with the new engine and driveline?
