    Wave rotor for rear

Hey all, got a set of wave rotors for the front and one for the rear to install. My bike is an '04 and I am going to use the stock calipers. For anyone that has changed their rear to a wave, is there anything besides an adapter that is needed, i.e. longer line or what not? Thanks.

    Rotor Dilemmas

Alright, I need some help trying to figure out some issues that I am having with my rotors. I have changed front rotors 2 times and back one once due to warping them, or atleast at the time that's what I thought. So to say the least, I am very confused as to why and if they were/are really...

    Powder coating rotor carriers?

Im considering having a set of rotors bead blasted and the carriers powder coated. Im concerned that no matter how careful the prep work is done, some powder is going to end up on the rotor buttons. Would this affect the semi-floating capabilities of my rotors? BTW, these are gen2 busa...

    Carrozzeria rotor bolt clearance issue

Last night I finally mounted my Carr.wheel up front. It wouldn't spin due to the fact the rotor bolt on the right side was contacting the fork tube. It wasn't by too much as I could force it by. On the left side (speedo drive side) there was .070 inch clearance. The bolts are titanium low...

Rear Rotor is a Little Blue

My rear brake was hanging up a bit last season I guess. It wasn't enough drag to notice while rolling but enough to blue-up the rotor a bit (and it screached for the last few feet stopping) I've since overhauled the caliper. Doing a search on here brought up suggestions of washing the rotor...

Rotor prep before new pads. squeal/howling

I cant find the info I read a while ago about rotor prep before new pads. I think it was recommended to sand the rotors with a very fine grit wet/dry paper to remove any residual pad material, and clean well with brake cleaner before new pads.:confused2: Would this help my rear brake stop...

    Rear caliper rebuild, rotor wear

This one's for all, but Mr. Morley may have a particular interest- I'm now working on my 3rd, maybe 4th, I can't remember, set of rear brake pads, on my '03 Max. The first two replacement sets were EBC FA 88(organic), the set in use now are O.E.M.($$$!), because that's all the dealership...

A few days ago I noticed my 85's front right rotor looked darker than the left. Touched it and found it was nicely oiled.. Black.. Wiped it off and found the same thing this morning while calling in sick.:bang head: No drips, just a oily rotor. I guess I wont just be changing the pads now...

So Im thinking my front brakes look like they are ok for the moment, but need changed. Then I see a bur on one of the rotors? The pad looks like its got about 1/8" of material. How far down can you go. Or I guess I found out.. Any suggestions on how to remove the bur before new pads?

Jedi brake adaptors and rear wavy rotor

I am trying to reassemble my rear brake after installing the new wavy disk. Just getting back to it after this last incident (Rotor bolt fiasco) Possibly I am just brain dead today (it's been a pretty rough week) but I can't seem to get this to work. I have one of Jedi's brake adapters...
