Sold 2018 Vmax, 1670 miles!

I have a 2018 Vmax with only 1660 miles on it.
Price is $18,900.
I'm going to put it on Cycle Trader later this week.
Thought I'd give people on this forum a heads-up.
Bike is in Asheville NC.

Have had several calls but I think the price was a bit high so I lowered it to $18,500.
I get weird texts also asking about the bike.
I know it’s some sort of scam / phishing but IDK what because I don’t answer them.
Amazing how many people out there are up to no good.

Must be a reason for you to sell it but if you can hold it you may get lot better price I own 2019 max with 13000 miles and bike. Look just like yours with Sato racing accessories I think you should ask for over 20 k since Yamaha don’t make them anymore sending pics I am in Sacramento ca

Got it sold. Had lots of calls but learned there are some people I don’t want to sell it to. Buyer was going to pay $18,500 but I ended up selling it to him for $17,900 cause I liked him and thought he would give it a good home. Shipper is supposed to pick it up tomorrow. Thanks for the moral support tho !

Selling it cause I have an 2009 that I’ve had since new and a 2020 that I just got with 2500 miles on it. Now I’m looking for a 2017 with low miles. The last year they spent money on Finnish work.

i have yamaha carbon fiber scoops and a couple other parts on my 09 but am looking for Yamaha scoops for my 2020. I know you can buy from Maxicarbon but I like the original factory carbon fiber. They were made by some guy in Japan that was famous in his circle, don’t know if he is still around. I have original boxes too !

I’ve got too many pans in the fire. Only need 2 Vmax’s.
from the calls I got I know I’m definitely not the only one out there who recently realized that this wonderful bike will never be made again. I definitely could have got more than $20k. Mymax guy here on forum said the same thing as you basically.
I liked the buyer though. I wanted the bike to get a good home and I wanted to get it sold.
Don’t know if it’s real but I heard a comment about how new emissions regs make it hard for manufacturers to do 4 cylinder engines in the future.

Whenever I have tried to sell anything on Ebay I have attracted all sorts of weirdos, nutters fantasists, scammers and general time wasters. There's a lot of them out there.

Why a 2017? The last year they spent money on Finnish work? What’s that mean?? I’m trying to understand why you’re looking for a 2017 when you just sold a 2018?? I thought this bike was unchanged since new in 2009 other than colors???
