Hi All,
Progreasive springs arrived and are #'ed 11-1129. Is this correct for a 98 Max ??????
Also says to use stock spacer???? Depends on rider weight, no????
TIA, Lew

When I installed Progressive springs in my original front end I had to cut 1/2" off of the stock spacer to get the correct sag. Start there and cut in small increments until you get the sag set at the recommended amount in the instructions.

The basic Progressive spring kit for the 93-up bikes should include 2 pieces of PVC pipe and instructions on how long the pipe/spacers should be. When I originally cut mine per the instructions it gave me about 2 inches of pre-load. Too much. I then took about an inch off of what they said.

I bought my springs used on Ebay - no spacers with it, so I used 1" schedule 40 pvc at the advise of others here on this site. Worked great ! Sux they sent you the wrong ones ... :damn angry:
