Can someone explain to me how to remove the front fender?

I unbolted the 4 bolts on the fork brace, but the fender does not look like it will just slide off. There is not enough clearance in any direction.

Thanks.

85-92 you can slide it off the back. 93 and up the wheel needs to come down.

Thanks for the reply guys. Consensus is: Front wheel coming off this weekend.

And a word of advice, don't count on the fender to stick to the tire while you reach behind the forks to ease it out! It probably will fall and scrape up the paint on your fender...don't ask how I know this....at least it had not been repainted at that point!:eusa_dance:

Yeah, I was told to be careful. The whole point of me of me taking the front fender off is that I got new paint on a spare. I definitely don't want to scratch that up.
