Fuel reserve sensor

Measured sensor resistance and got 1400 Ohms at 50F.

Question

Are you supposed to measure with tank full or empty? Or either way it should be between 700-1100?

Personally I'd pull it, clean then resolder it. Not a hard job ....did the same thing with my 86 Fazer when i got it ,..reserve light wasn't working ...works like a damn now, very sensitive.
