I attempted to start my 2005 VMAX Today and fuel pours out of one of the overflow tubes. Any thoughts?

The float is stuck in the carb. Try tapping on the bowl of the carb that is over flowing. This usually frees up the float.

Thats the same thing that happened to me today..Mine were leaking on the left side...I'm hoping its fixes itself...Sucks if I have to tear into the carbs to clean em...

Yep. Both my left carbs were overflowing after winter storage. Tapping didn't help. Drained the bowls and filled with Sea Foam. Let it sit for 4 days.
Pressurized the fuel line (turned on ignition). Still overflowing. Tapped the
bowls. Still overflowing. Tapped harder. Front left float sealed!

Encouraged, I worked the rear left carb like six or seven times; ie, 6 or 7 raps on top of the bowl area with a bar struck with a hammer, then check for overflow by turning on the ignition. I go through this cycle like 6 or 7 times, then... success!!! Oh, yeah!!

Don't forget to change the oil. That's a lot of gas down the intake.

Motor never ran better than now.

Thanks to the comments on this and the other "overflow" threads. :clapping:
