This is why you don't screw around with the venting pop-offs on your bottles.
When the bottles get hot, venting is a good thing, not to mention loosing a tank full of nitrous is still cheaper than what happened to this guys ride.

Wow, on a side note, I actually have the parts to fix that car lol!

Since no meat chunks, I guess no one was in it when that happened?

I had two Fox-bodied 5.0's & considered them much more fun to drive than the two Trans-Ams (400 Pontiacs, both of them) or the Z28 I also owned.

Safety first when dealing w/compressed gases. Even a car tire can explode and kill the stupid mechanic.

Almost looks like a meteorite hit. But then he wouldn't want to fix the car,
it'd be worth a fortune "As Is".

Holy sheeeeeeeet! That probably blew out all of the windows, has shrapnel embedded in everything, and blew out his eardrums too! That'd be a fun thing to explain to insurance/cops... I'm pretty sure this is why shooting NOS on the street is illegal. They don't want idiots improperly installing their NOS kits and injuring people like so.

Nitrous is plenty safe when you use it as designed. When you start messing with bottles to gain higher pressures then you get this kind of shit waiting to happen.
