Name is Lee, great to be on like minded forum. I've for years been partial to the vmax always looking, but ended up being a superbike rider. Finally took the leap in my older years and bought me one. A 94 model, and WOW I've been missing this all this time,not even an 1100gsxr comes close. Thanks guys

The first 64 pp. of the factory service manual contain annual updates. After that, the area-specific chapters begin. Read the Appendix, it has nut/bolt/screw locations, sizes, and torque values, cable and hose routing, electric schematics, oil and water circulation, and more.



Note there is diagram overlap.

The '85-'89 bikes have 5 wires for the electrical ignition pickups (there are 2 pickups) while the '90-'07 bikes have one pickup of two wires.



Anything you need to do, use the search function to read-up on what others have done, chances are that any problems or modifications you have or are considering, have been dealt with successfully before.

I suggest adding your bike year and model (USA, Asian, UK, etc) in your signature so people can see what your bike is, to answer questions you may pose.
