Want louder marks exhuast, this is what I did to my 4 to 2. The resonator tube inside the cans can be taken out with a little man handling along with the fiberglass. Go to autozone or Orielly's and pickup two 14" long exhuast tubes, if I remember right they were 3.5 o.d.. Anyways dremel the edges and lightly tap over marks resonator, this makes it more of straight exhuast depending on the length your covering the reso. I left mine 3" short. then just replace the resonator tubes over the holes inside cans and replace the glass. I'll try to post a vid with sound , what you get is a super nasty idle, sounds like a V8, a really mean crackle with a load, and a desent rhythm at cruise. They are loud at idle, nice popping while gear switching, extremely loud with hard take offs, and pretty quite at cruise.

Great mod! Of course if you're buying a system you could have him do pretty much the same thing for you. He's good like that... lol

14" cans. I did forget to mention you'll have to cut the sleeves don't remember the length other than mine were about 3" shorter than the reso on the exit side.
I imagine if you cut them shorter they'd be less loud.
Yeah I had called him about that after I installed mine and he said he could do what ever I wanted, but theres nothing like do it yourself and ride about an hour later. Marks sounds good but I like "STUPID LOUD", plus motorist kinda freak out when you pass them, maybe thats dangerous...lol..

Re: louder marks exhuast

Yeah stupid loud in my town leads to stupid tickets. We have a sound ordinance, plus my wife would never ride on it if they were straight pipes... lol

Re: louder marks exhuast

My Wife wouldn't ride with me if mine were louder either.
I had thoughts of going with 2-1/2 or 2-3/4" outlets when
I ordered mine. Everyone told me that 2" would be just fine
and would satisfy my need for sound. It does very well.
Still, this setup will make for a wild video.

Re: louder marks exhuast

here are two quick videos I did earlier today. lol...my wife doesn't like riding, just the kids and well they love it. It's alot louder with a load and stretching out the rpms but little to fast in the neighborhood to do so.

yeah the vid doesn't do justice, it is deeper...at idle and below 5k with a load, but when it really gased on it just screams, try to get a vid of that this weekend.
