Thanks Sean I'll check it out. Someone told me that yamaha ran out of vmax blocks and that they used venture ones in their place. Thought I might get lucky. I'm wondering because I have what I belive to be a stock bike and I have got 121hp and 87 foot lbs of torque on one dyno and 117hp and 82 foot lbs of torque on a different dyno seems high. I even had the brass plugs in over the a/f screws.
 
Yea, everytime we see this rumor we haven't found it to be true.
 
yea but i'd definitely be interested. those #s are high for stock.

you'd think if they did it one year they'd change it going forward? they had already upgraded the venture to a 1300, would be cheaper to just use one casting yea?
