So I just got my bike running I was using a little mower tank to fuel the bike while I cleaned the actual tank and it looked good on the inside after I cleaned it, but after I hooked everything up, go and try to fire the bike and it just cranked but didn't fire I know the fuel pump works because of using the little tank. So I was thinking the sending unit is either not working or clogged up if I put new gas in the tank and put seafoam or gum out in it and let it sit would that help clean it out or would I need to take it out of the tank and clean it if I could. If I have to buy a new one I will but I can't find any on eBay or anything, but I do prefer to try and clean it.
So I didn't know that the sending unit is just a sensor for low fuel, so the line in the tank is actually clogged that is simple then
