Absolutely sure that there is something on this site about this, Shifter seal is going, I have a new one. Does the gear cover have to come off? Just need to know what to order for parts!!

While you might be able to screw-into a couple holes drilled in the seal, and get it to release, removing the side cover is then far-easier to remove the seal. It's also very easy to set the new seal. Use care not to tear the seal lip when re-installing the side cover. While it's off, take a look at the slave cyl. and if you see lots of corrosion and crystallized brake fluid on it, it's overdue for repair or replacement. The side showing is of course the side going towards the engine cases, but you can see the crystallized brake fluid best.
