Speed governor

Has anyone removed the governor that restricts the speed? If so do you need to do any other modifications to the bike to adapt?

Gen 2 exhaust, gurued and air box mod. Oh and clutch mod, runs pretty good

what does "Gurued" mean? I asked several people and no one around here knows.??

Gurued Gear is a company owned by Tim Nash. He offers reflash services for the gen 2 Vmax.

Gurued just means the ecu is flashed on the Gen 2, Tim Nash I believe started doing this, I may be mistaken but once the ecu is unlocked the bike comes to life. Speed limiter is off and your throttle response is amazing! Totally a different beast. Hope that helps.
