Starter button

The starter switch button is worn and loose causing the headlight to go out I jiggle it and headlight comes back on.Definitly a design flaw.Just wondering if anybody has fixed this by upgrade repair or replaced from another bike that has a better set up.

Not sure if the 'design flaw' comment is intended to be serious or ironic.

It would be helpful if you gave the age of your bike as it could be (depending on its age) a flaw that has taken anywhere between 15 and 38 years to manifest itself.
