Today I turned 70 years old. It's also 35 years to the day I bought Godzilla. I've owned it half my life... Guess I'll keep the old girl.

Congratulations on both counts! I love your signature line about growing old with that bike. I wish I could’ve grown old would at least one of those from my past.

Also roughly 35 years ago, I bought a ZL900 Eliminator off the showroom floor. Sold that one after 10 years and always regretted it. Picked up another very nice one 10 years ago but it was destroyed in a traffic light rear end collision. I was lucky enough to escape relatively unscathed. But I think Eliminators and I are not to be…

But I fully agree with you that the Vmax and you are destined to stay together.
