Travel Bag

[VMAXXIMUM]

I'm looking to get a bag that slips over the backrest. I don't have a luggage rack but I plan to set it on the seat. I almost never ride with a passenger. I want something in a "medium" size. I remember a few posts from last year showing a few, but they were huge. Any suggestions?

I have a tourmaster bag and love it. It came with a roll bag that you fasten to the top.

A few guys have the Kuryakyn Mini Grantour bag that works well with a back rest on a Vmax.

Motocentric something... It's 18" wide. Worked great for me on the rear seat to Newfoundland and back. Great rain cover, and very roomy.

I had this one for a while:

But I don't have a luggage rack and my taillight is right where the reflector used to be, above the fender, and riding 2 up caused the bag to sit in front of the light, so no one could see it.

But, when I rode solo, it was great. It was big enough to act as a backrest for me, and it kept it's shape while being empty. It was a good bag, and if I had a luggage rack, I'd buy it again.
