Unknown exhaust make/brand

Hi!
These pics are of the aftermarket exhaust on a 1986 V-Max I recently purchased. They were installed by one of the bike's previous owners (not the one I purchased the V-Max from). I'd like to replace that exhaust with a new set of the same make/brand because the left-side muffler has been damaged. Being unable to find contact information for the previous owner who purchased/installed the exhaust (probably 7+ years ago), I was hoping that someone on the forum might recognize the make/brand from the photos? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like someone made thier own slip-ons.

Does look like someone made the cans themselves. I'd maybe think about putting a full exhaust system on there. Maybe a Marks system to keep the dual exhaust look. The full system will make more power, which is a good thing.:thumbs up:

Thanks for the feedback! I'm surprised - never would have guessed that they could be custom slip-ons. They kind of look like some slip-ons I've seen on a few bikes, so just assumed they were made commercially.

If I replace them, I'd hope to be able to keep the same appearance, and of course the same sound! :biglaugh:

I think they kinda have the same look as Dale Walkers Exhaust. I included some pics of my bike when I had the DW Exhaust on it.

I think the Marks Exhaust looks as good as well.

Thanks grimmie - I agree, the Dale Walkers do look very much like the exhaust on my '86. I'm hoping that they're not custom slip-ons, thereby saving $$$ when getting them replaced.

I think that is very similar to the set I have up for sale in my special sale parts thread. I think they may have been "F1" mufflers.

Thanks one2dmax - I think the "F1" slip-ons you've posted for sale are nearly identical!
