The Gen 2 is about 1-1.25 seconds faster in the 1/4 mile stock . And about the same difference if they are both modified with bolt ons.

Top speed on a Gen 2 is limited to around 137 mph stock but the limiter can be overidden fairly easily to allow the bike to run around 170. I think a Gen 1 can run about 150 (both actual speeds not what the Speedo reads)

Skullduggery has run 155 indicated before I let off. Likely less on GPS. With Venture gearing, rear rim size change and more mods, the bike handling the speed without killing you may be the limiting factor. If possible to do without dying in the process I'd say the Gen 1 could do 170 also.

Yeah....honestly I never felt real comfortable running over 135 on any of my Gen 1's. Even with all the good suspension upgrades and radials the Gen 1 can still be quite "exciting" when pushing it to it's limits.

The gen 2 should outrun the gen 1 in top speed unless you get the overdrive from me. THEN it will take a lot more engine to get to the new potential (over 200mph verified possible on the dyno).
