well I don't have a very interesting job, I was an electrical construction supervisor (on but mostly offshore fo 20 yrs.) now I am a Go getter in the morning i bring my wife to work then when she gets off i GO GET HER.:biglaugh:

This is my dream job. I've had all kinds of work because I've rarely said no to making money. Large network of friends and family and there's opportunities here and there for whatever. Bust my ass for a weekend, and buy a mod or whatever the next. Never had any issues with that.

If my wife had some 6 figure job that could support me though, hell I'd gladly add 'chauffeur' and 'mr. mom' to my resume! I'm not old school enough to be opposed to that shit at all. For now though she's a professional student and part timer lol.

I thought I posted on this but after looking at every page I guess I didn't. Anyway, I am a professional Locksmith/ Safe expert its a cool job and haven't came across a safe yet that I couldn't "crack" but I also work for my cheapass brother who only pays me about half of what I'm worth considering I make him alot of money. But hopefully soon I'm gonna start my own business and give it a shot or if a good opportunity comes along again I'd take that. But it's interesting work and it has allowed me to live in Fla, California, Maui and some other nice places .

My current title is "Retired"

This is an upgrade from my most recent title of "unemployed"

I currently work for Magic, Mage, and Arwen as home manager and bed warmer.

They are the only Bitches that will sleep with me.

Commercial construction project manager. Currently building a church, last job I worked on was a prison in TN. Mostly education otherwise. I don't mind the variety, and always learning new things.

My last job before retirement, a Haute Couture model, which was a natural progression from my profession prior to that, working in the male escort business.

Systems Analyst, developing business intelligence applications on data warehousing systems

...I think...

Nerd Biker is probably a better title

Guy i worked for was a dreamer,He said 8 hrs a day 5 days a week,It ended up 12/15 hrs a day,7 days a week,Not the8/5 i expected,After working on cars trucks,And doing roadside asst.I would get back to find the phone ringing off the hook.Or another customer coming in saying i saw your lights on,so i thought you were open!It never ended!Never!never ,Build your buiness next to your house! No clock to punch.Work the hours you want!Dreamer.

+1 to that Terry!!

They used to say..."Must be nice to own your own business....set yer own hours and all!"

"Yup" I'd say, "I only work half days.....7 to 7."

+1.....example:

Hired hand goes to the farmer asking for more money
Farmer says...."I can't afford any more money but I'll make you a foreman"
Hired hand..."Hey, ya got a deal!"

:rofl_200:

Bossman - Son, I like the cut of your jib, I'm going to make you supervisor.

Worker - Really!? thank you so much. I really appreciate it. Umm, What kind of raise can I expect?

Bossman - Now I didn't say anything about a raise. By the way, now that your management, there isn't anymore overtime pay and you might have to stick around after your shift ends to take care of some things for me.

This is exactly why I tell my "career" manager that I ain't gonna bend over backwards trying to do what it takes to get promoted. Either I get stacked against my L3s each year when raises are budgeted, as a high-performing Mushroom that sits in a dark room and gets fed shit; or when compared to other L4s, as a low-performer because he would rather live life with his family instead of feeding the mushrooms pro bono after hours. :hmmm: Considering a high L3 is compensated at the same pay rate as a low L4, the decision is easy.

I recognize the Alexander Calder sculpture from your avatar! Do you work for Pfizer? I have a couple of high-school friends who are chemists and/or IT guys for them in the city the Upjohn family, Gibson guitars, and Checker Automobile Company made famous. I graduated from a WPA-era schoolhouse about a mile from the Gilmore Car Museum. Lotta nice country roads in your area. M-37 & M-43 are a couple of my favorites, around Yankee Springs.
