Work for the Government. Wasn't to bad when our agency was called the OSS but then some halfwitted politician decided to waste several months and a few million dollars of tax payer money to rename us the SS.

Yes... thats right... my job title is officially an SS Officer. I cant believe no-one at any point in that brainstorming session recalled a little bit of history called world war II and a certain agency called the Gestapo...

What do I do? To be honest I sit around waiting for a job to come in. My team has an ex-AFL footie player, an ex-singapore army weightlifter and me "the nerd". We sit around in suits and ties, surfing the net in our three cubicles buried in a giant compound waiting for something to happen. It's strange, I worked my butt off towards a job, I'm talking degree's, qualifications, stint in the airforce. And now that I've got it I'm so bored I've started running a small coffee roasting business on weekends just to have something to do. People ask me whats the most exciting part of my job and most days the answer is hooning up the compounds exit ramps on the Vmax at the end of the day. Its a bit of a laugh really, the outside of our building has a pedestrian path which a lot of people walk down, when they see the big gates clanking open they tend to peer inside to see whats coming up the ramps out of the darkness, they're expecting black vans and what pops out is a Vmax :biglaugh:

My official title would be IT Manager/IT Director for GFS Atlantic, A GFS Canada Company (www.gfsatlantic.com) located in Amherst, NS, Canada (but I live in Riverview, NB, Canada). I've been with the company for 9 years, started out as the 'IT guy' fresh out of a private college, moved into a management role about 5 years ago, then quickly also had to fill the shoes of IT Director for our division.

I love my job.... but selling food sure sucks, no one wants to pay for it.

Cruzer, is the AF still short on parts for the F15? Now that it looks like the F-22 is done I think there will be more of a demand.

I am currently a semi-retired porn star. By semi-retired I mean, it seems like litigation follows me, in reference to damaging the set.:confused2::rofl_200: So I entertain myself as an equipment installer for for a large telecom company in Illinois. I like my job, pay is great, but I need a change due to everything going cellular.:bang head:

As far as parts, No. Where there's demand there's always a company producing. Since the F-22 production was cut short I was hoping the F-15SE Silent Eagle modification would be put into effect. We have a lot of "E" models in moth balls for candidates. On paper it looks bad ass! And the airframe is already there. They will actually be made at some point but I don't know if we will have them. Besides we do have the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter going out to the Marines (Semper Fi) the Navy and AF, and their nothing to mess with either. I'm at the only existing training base for the F-15 so business should be good for awhile, I hope.

Officially, my title is Enterprise Service Desk Operations Controller...translation, work at an enterprise level help desk for the USAF and make sure all my techs do what they are supposed to....
