Like Danny stated, you probably have a spring out of place somewhere because the readings shouldn't move around once set. Remember to give the throttle a little "blip" after each adjustment is made and let it settle back to idle before taking a reading.
Could be the diaphrams in the fuel pump have become dislodged too. Do a search here on the forum, there are threads that talk about testing and disassembling the pump. And welcome to the forum!
Love mine Eric. Easy to install with no adjustments needed. Totally ended my front end dive when braking, and also gives the front end a nice planted feeling when hitting the twisties!
As stated the junction box is the way to go, but be careful you don't strip those tiny screws when threading them back in to the plastic! Always makes me nervous when I'm reassembling.
Good to hear from you Wayno! Hope things are going good for you, and that you have a great Christmas & New Year!! Hows the bike coming along.....any new mods to it?
I think Miles is correct....Dave is enjoying the hornets nest he has stirred up. I appreciate the fact that you guys have kept this topic civil thus far.
