    Need new air filter

No, But the Barnett clutch with the gold springs works great, it's about 20-25% stronger than stock and seems to shift smoother IMO. And if you ever want more grab you can always install the stronger Green springs.

GEN1 - NIB Faux Tank -SOLD-

Re: GEN1 - NIB Faux Tank Yeah I believe a 1999 and 2000 (like mine) weren't as dark as the 2001-2002. But I don't think it would be too noticeable on the bike.

    Tearing Up The Town

I like it !!!!!!!!! I rode my Vmax around for a day with No cans on it when I was installing my Supertrapps. I got stopped by three different cops in my town that day. The first 2 just gave me a verbal warning, the 3rd gave me a verbal warning and then followed me home to make sure I put the...

    Need new air filter

I agree, If I had a full exhaust, I'd go with Sean Morley's jet kit over the Stage 7 kit because Sean's has better low end and mid-range HP/Torque. That equals Much better everyday ride-ability, IMO. Like this:

My Vmax tipped over on me today :(

I'm glad to hear you're relatively OK. As for the damage, I'd sand any of the Aluminiu pieces and see how they look Before spending big $ to replace them. My Gen 1 scoops were seriously road rashed when I bought it. My Brother bought it new in 2000 for about $12-13K and had never ridden street...

Are you a new member? Come here and say hi!

You can grab the Service and Owners Manuals here: http://v4musclebike.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9801 As far as the reserve switch I'd check the right side switch first and if it's good check the sensor on the fuel tank. Start a new thread after searching the forum for more help with that.
