I'm not sure about the amount of flow/pressure you will get from the stock fuel pump.... if you are sticking with a 40 shot you will most likely be o.k... but that is just a guess. If you read my post, I made a completely separate fuel system for mine... I took out the tank drain plug and made...

You can do either... the only reason to NOT tie it into your arming switch is so you can turn your bottle on and purge the system without running your fuel pump.... this would mostly be for show. I will warn you, the fuel pump will NOT like staying on for very long, most of them are NOT...

I would try putting your stock needles back in. It is pretty easy to do and that may give you a little insight as to what is going on. Good luck, Jeff

I have a set of Kerkers (2 years old) have a few dings in them, but can't really see it when mounted. I also have an O2 bung welded in the collector to get a good A/F reading. I have the regular and race baffle and end caps. I usually just run the can (and maybe an endcap) but it sounds bad...

NOOOOO!!!!!! Don't take this bike to a shop!!!!! You can do this yourself! There has been a lot of people that have spent a lot of money by sending this bike to people that know little or nothing about the VMax. We can walk you through it... if you get good results, just send a little...

Carb cleaner or brake cleaner and a small tip on an air gun. The cleaners help remove any glue and the air pressure helps to break the seal. Twisting as noted above helps too. Good luck Jeff

I fixed a friends Venture with a bad middle gear seal. Not too bad of a job really. There are some torque specs for the U-Joint that you should be paying attention too (I believe there is a metal spacer that you can actually crush if the nut is over-tightened)... It is pretty well explained...

Digital cameras are F-ing great! It really blows my mind that these things have only been around for 10-15 years.... and I can't image being without one. Anyway, please don't laugh, but it did work.... also having a 300+lb brother in law with arms the size of my legs helps too.
