changing my main jets. low and mid range pull strong but top end struggles. I had stock mains in , thought I would try and richen it up with dj170's and see how she runs. also did the shotgun cause lately at low rpm's it would stumble. and wouldn't you know it when I removed my a/f mixture...

:biglaugh: before I pulled the bike in the shed, I cleaned the floor with a leafblower so it has to be from the bike somewhere... I checked the hoover and we have an older model #H925 3.5hp that the cord rewind mechanism broke 11 years ago, now its a manuel rewind :Sad: so it cant be...

Just changed my main jets and you have to remove carbs to get to them, no easy way around it...

No I didn't have the clutch out Dan I will check the foot peg and idle screw Ro, and no I didn't hear it hit the ground, I just happened to see it on the floor under the bike:confused2:

so I was pulling my carbs to change the mains and I saw this on the floor. anyone recognize it? I have no idea where it came from...

depending on the dates you pick, I would be up for an ohio ride. only 3 hours to Mansfield from Pittsburgh, i need to put some miles on this year and have never rode anywhere in ohio.

im in the same boat Mark. I have a double notched and braced swingarm that was meant for a 200, and I have tried every type of tire out there and mine has a slight rub too. I think I will drop down to a 190 from here on out, but out of all the tires that rubbed I never had a problem. it drives...

I agree with you Brian, if I had do it over again I would go with the busa conversion. less expensive and its a 6 piston caliper compared to a 4.

and you need larger rotors (298mm)

And just to let everyone know, I had a small issue with my maxgasser this past week. I emailed Rick and he got back to me within hours and said to send it back and he would fix it asap, also offered me a loaner if I needed one while mine was being worked on... Big Thanks to Rick for building...
