You are probably a "narrowband" guy. If you get fat stomach, you'll get better MPG. Drink beer, eat donuts. ;)

Gen 2 should have better MPG, most likely it has O2 sensor. 4 wires, most likely narrowband O2 sensor. There is no downstream O2 sensor.

Is there downstream O2 sensor? It has to be tricked somehow.

Perfect fuel ratio is 14.7, but your diagram shows 13.8 and 13.4, which means 5-7% of gas doesn't burn, killing O2 sensors, catalytic converter and spark plugs. I would like to hear story about somebody, who got adjusted ECM and then paid for cat replacement!
