I think thats the shift segment issue.. search the forum for shift segment.

$3000.... wow if u can wrench its not that hard. Morley can hook u up with the undercut trans for a decemt price. Pull motor, strip the side covers and split the case. Ship the trans to morley and reinstall. Took me six hours to disassemble and eight to reassemble. Bag all the bolts in ziplock...

Not to but in here but I think he has the same issue I had with the dogs being rounded over on the gears. Sean undercut mine and its awesome now.

Jedi,check out my previous post . Mine was a transmission issue.. not the teeth but the dogs. I have pics if you would like to see them. And it is exactly the symptoms he was describing.

Was just looking at this thread and he had exact same problem I had on my 2005 and he was right its not the clutch. The dogs on the 2nd gear were worn to the point it would jump the dogs making it feel like you were hitting patches of ice on hard acceleration in second gear. I had to have morley...

Rotella... bar none. Plus I found neutral way easier with a new clutch. Apparently the clutch plates must have been sticking causing drag making neutral a bitch to find. Now I just stop and click neutral. What a difference

Reduced the chicken strip on my tires today hehe.. spirited run with an r6 &r1. Impressed with the avons. Tomorrow... yz250 2t to the track and I am gonna get the nerve to jump it... just hammer the throttle and see what happens lol

One word of advice. Dont tiptoe around.. keep same noise level in the house she will adjust.
