I failed DMV inspection with aftermarket turn signals ($200 inspection!!). They are not DOT or SAE approved. Had to change them! Just something with markings. Found 4 pieces in local junkyard, probably from Honda. They can fit with rubber inserts from my miniblinkers. So hard to change minibulb...

What engine guards protect on vmx gen1? Anyone has experience? Now i have bented handlebar, cracked scoop, broken shifter and pedal, the hole in pipe and bunch of scratches. Low speed collision. Thinking of engineguards, but don,t like the look.

Finally after10 years of no accidents, was hit by an idiot in the truck. Kinda funny see your bike upside down. I am ok, but had to fix bike now. Handlebar bented, wow! Minor damage also. Ripped leather jacket and broken watch:)

Admit it - VMAX is dying. Handfull of oldtimers gathering around. New gen VMax is just a joke and off production anyway. I tried to find mechanic in LA to change head gasket gen1 V max- no one want to do it, even for $800. Looking to buy M109 or M90 when my Vmax RIP. Just realised that i was on...

Try to start it few times from external sourse, like running car, with half opened choke. Mine was doing the same with half fried battery. Dried electrolyte. Maybe nothing wrong with starter.
