What engine guards protect on vmx gen1? Anyone has experience? Now i have bented handlebar, cracked scoop, broken shifter and pedal, the hole in pipe and bunch of scratches. Low speed collision. Thinking of engineguards, but don,t like the look.

Finally after10 years of no accidents, was hit by an idiot in the truck. Kinda funny see your bike upside down. I am ok, but had to fix bike now. Handlebar bented, wow! Minor damage also. Ripped leather jacket and broken watch:)

Try to start it few times from external sourse, like running car, with half opened choke. Mine was doing the same with half fried battery. Dried electrolyte. Maybe nothing wrong with starter.
