so been looking more into my ZRX shocks and figured out that there is three different adjustments that can be made, as far as i can tell you can adjust pre load from the main adjustment and there is two knobs, one up top that from what i can read is the compression adjustment and the lower one...

They give a little more lean forward, similar to drag bars but with some rise to clear the air box cover.

Well the old bike is all loaded up and ready for its trip to Montana, looking forward to finally meeting Sean and seeing all of his handy work in person, not to mention looking forward to getting a chance to work with him during the transfer of all the stuff from the old bike to the new one!

Yeah to test my 85 I just disconnected the the connector behind the side cover that goes from the fuel sending unit to the fuel light circuit and shorted the end that goes to the circuit (no the one that goes to the sending unit in the tank), turned the key on and watched the light turn on and...

My 85 fuel light doesn't come on when the key is turned on either, and I know it does work as I have ran it till the light comes on. I spent a lot of time troubleshooting the circuit like you as I also read that it should have come on when the key is turned on, it might be just something with...

Those two bolts are also supposed to be shorter then the others, when I pulled mine apart they had them all messed up.

Well here is an update to the bike so far, Sean pretty much started from the ground up, he has been updating his Facebook with pictures but figured I would post some of them here Hopefully will be driving down to Montana in a couple weeks to pick it up, will post more pics then

I had a couple friends that tried getting theirs turned and it didn't end well for them, they ended up with warped rotors, one set was so bad that the wheel wouldn't even do a full turn without hitting, and the other had a really bad pulsation when applying the brake. I wouldn't recommend it.

Once you get the sync tool you won't know how you did without it, one of the best tools I've purchased for the bike, it's paid for itself 10 time over by now!
