    Tire balancing beads

Also with the Shinko 230 lots of weight is needed to balance. My understanding of balance beads is that they roll around in your tire and as the heavy spot of your tire starts to be affected by centrifugal force the beads roll opposite and correct the balance as needed. I have heard people even...

    Finally wheelied!

I like to ride fast, occasionally race people on the freeway if there is a lack of traffic, do quick rolling burnouts, and now pop my wheel up a foot or so and ride it out. I was telling my buddy who just bought his first bike a few weeks ago what a squid is. I realized that I'm a squid! LOL...

    Finally wheelied!

Doing a wheelie in the front of a pack doesn't seem right either dwarf. If he loses it, he risks wiping out all the riders behind him as a result of squidding it up.

    Finally wheelied!

I'm not interested in riding a wheelie, just wanted to be able to pop one. Occasionally I would from shifting from 1st to 2nd, not intentionally though. Now I can when I want to, not just by chance. I will not practice but thanks.

    Finally wheelied!

Powered it up finally! :eusa_dance: I had been trying to do it WOT then cutting the throttle, then snapping it back open at about 6k. I got it by doing it at around 4.5k, it pops up a little and when it goes back down I snap it again and it goes up really well. About time! LoL

    Progressive vs Stock

It has the stock 1" spring and 1 extra 1" spring which was provided. Cut the preload tube off 1" to compensate, as instructed in the vid and provided instructions. I will measure like you said when I get home.

    Progressive vs Stock

I needed to have my fork seals done, the shop I usually take my bike to charges $160 to do em. I decided to do them myself after reading on here that it wasn't too difficult. Thanks to Morley's YouTube vids on the subject, I was able to do the job. I also decided to use the $$ I was saving and...

How hard is it to change fork seals?

I don't mean to be annoying, bit I'm disassembling them tonight and rebuilding them I'm the am, I just want to know before I take it apart if I NEED synthetic.

How hard is it to change fork seals?

Ok, but does it have to be synthetic? I am also cheap! Just got my progressive springs and seals from Sean today. Going 1" lower. I'm changing the trans filter on my Durango so I'm already going to have to buy a few gallons of ATF 4+

How hard is it to change fork seals?

for the fork oil, does it have to be synthetic power steering fluid or will regular power steering fluid work? I have also heard you can use ATF fluid?
