. I get a 1" board under the center stand, It really helps.

Just put the wheel back on with a new Shinko Tourmaster. Took a bit off one spot of the right side washer and tapped it in place. Stock size tire( 150/90 x15") Went in and out easily with the center stand on a 1" board. Now I just need the winter storm ( April 21 ????) to clear up.......

I had the exact deflectors on my Max untill I went to bar end mirrors. Then put them on the Valkyrie where they really help ALOT. Also painted them black from the INSIDE. Doesn't scratch and looks like clear coat. Lew L

Thanks 4 the offer. I cleaned the contacts( they weren't too bad ) But--- the white plastic contact holder had softened and was holding one of the spring loaded contacts open. So I heated it gently till the contact was free to move. Checked with a VOM and all seems well. I'll install tomorrow...

I also own a valk. A 98 Tourer. Made a few changes though. They are wonderful a;nd bullitproof. I cleaned up on a few hardlys but most of them know they dont stand a chance. The Valk is GREAT. Smooth, quiet, fast, good bags, comfy. So now I have the V-Max, the Valk, and a new Spyder...
