Ausgerechnet in Okinawa (Naha) in Japan.

Sold Saddle Bags OEM Gen 2

Good evening, after I searched for a long time and showed my original panniers to various leather craftsmen, saddleries, etc., asking them to cover them with real leather, I had almost given up. None of the companies mentioned had the confidence to undertake this work. Too complicated and...

    Color Qualität

When dismantling the headlight, I noticed how poorly the original paint adhered, or rather did not (!!), adhere to the two black side panels. It almost seems as if the aluminum castings were neither primed nor pretreated in any way, just a layer of spray mist over it and that's it. Although I...

    genuine saddlebags aluminium panels

Refurbishing original saddlebags: I am in the process of having one of my 2 sets of saddlebags refurbished. For this I had the aluminum panels polished to a high gloss and I'm not sure whether I should paint them or just seal them with a special wax....!? When painting with clear coat, there is...

    I need your opinion

I need your opinion: what looks better? The original end caps with the stars or the carbon matt end caps with the stars? I have some matte carbon parts on my Max such as the rear fender, tank and front fender.

    V max and rocket 3

You wrote that very aptly, especially the Vmax is so full of emotion and that's exactly what we're all looking for here!!! Rationalists condemn any kind of feeling and reject us motorcyclists... Poor people, I think!

    Gen2 turn signals

    Rubber

Here are some Fotos..... Sorry the photos are very bad! They are little white crumbs, similar to the lime deposits in the bathroom. When you touch the stuff it's a bit sticky, like I said, I assume factory talc. It's easy to remove, but is it supposed to be, or is it a protection?

    Rubber

What is under the rubber between the cylinders, is the scale from the water, or is the talc applied to protect the rubber by YAMAHA OEM? What should I do, remove the white stuff and put talc on? Or apply corrosion protection, oil to protect? Carsten from Germany
