How do you get the RPM sensor to work on a bike with COP's coils when having a dyno test done? Do the dyno guys have another way than clamping around plug wire to get RPM's? Gary

Hi i want to do the cop`s mod, but there are 1000 post about it and i`m not getting the answer i need. I vant to know whits cop is the best (higest resistance) :ummm: I have the dyna 3000.

I have a 97 Vmax with the stock TCI. I got some COP's from ebay from a 2004 gsxr. I decided to use the facory harness so I wired it up the the COP's harness' with the red/white wire hook up to the right side wire on the COP. I installed the back two coils no problem, fired it up and ran fine...

As it reads, I have done a lot of research about the COP mod and recently bought the dyna coils instead. Well now Gannon has incorporated the resistor for early model bikes w/ dyna ign. Would it be an advantage to now switch to COP's or stick with current set-up?
