has anyone ever tried one from a Ducati 749/999?

my 2003 has a small leak that I cant seem to find the source of.The drip will show up just where the chrome heat shield ends on left side(as you sit on bike)Doesnt seem to leak at all if you let it sit and idle only shows up after a ride. Am i right in thinking maybe this is the source of my...

Just got my 86 max back together. Took it down the road now it seems to be running on 3 cyl. If you unplug the coils the r/r coil seems to be the problem, but I switched coils and the problem stays w/ that cyl. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks Jay

I am thinking i have a carb issue with the rear right cylinder. It is running super rich and not firing completely, spark looks good but when the bike is running unburnt fuel is coming out from around the header at the cylinder. Is there something i should look at first.

A Saw A Picture Of A V-max , And It Had Replacement Plates On The Sides Of The Cyliners, That Are Held On With A Allen Bolt ,that Replace The Stock Ones , One Said V-max The Other Said 1200,2 Plates For Each Side , They Looked Really Wicked !! Does Anyone Know Wear I Can Get Them ???

Has enyone tried to put Hayabusa brake master cylinder on the V-Max? I have R1 front callipers on the way (with braided lines) and one of the lads sells 99 Hayabusa master brake cylinder for half nothing. Was wondering how would it work on the V-Max :ummm: Any advice appreciated :thumbs up:
