Well, I got 4 passes in at the 1/8 mile this past Friday while I was at Conesville. This track is unprepped pavement, but with my 190 Shinko @ 10 lbs I hooked just fine.... too good actually. I needed my wheelie bars, but I left them at home. I had pretty decent 60' times (for me anyway)...
I've had my '94 for a little over a year now and have taken it to a local Dyno to check the AFR. I didn't want them tuning the bike or monkeying with anything, so I had 3 pulls to see how close I got the jetting. The bike runs okay since I don't have much to compare it to except for this site...

the teck said thier dyno is off 15% , he said the hp is aprox 112.
what do you guys think, is he full of it or is this a set of good numbers?
It shows 97 hp...
Has anyone run comparative dyno tests on their V-Max with the "Y" section of the air box on and then off? What were the differences in HP & torque, if any?

I mean regardless what the maker did, the power is the power. Even after heavily modding the machine, the power is still the power, no?

I put my bike on the dyno today for the first time. It was at a bike night, so they didn't have any hookups for A/F, but I got the general info that I needed.
PEAK HP: 117.2 HP @ 9000 RPM
PEAK TQ: 78.62 lb/ft @ 7062 RPM
