Any idea where I can find those pesky front fork caps that screw onto a schrader valve? 1997 Vmax.

I bought new fork seals and oil off ebay,the oil that came with the seals is only 7.5w.It says in the manual use 10w,did i read you can use power steering fluid or was it auto transmision fluid.What's the best to use.cheers.

I need to renew my fork seals and springs,the nuts at the top of the forks don't seem to want to move.Even with an air impact tool,they just don't wanna move.I am a bit anxious of stripping them,i was thinking of taking the air valve out and warming them up.What do you think,cheers.

Over the winter I was replacing my front fork seals,..and I was TOLD- DONT PUT IN AFTERMARKET SEALS they wont last. They said use GENUINE Yamaha seals...................I didn't......now I'm replacing them AGAIN !! these aftermarket ones are weak & wimpy compared to the Yamaha ones...

I believe it an Exactrep mega brace. After a quick trip to the bead blaster to tone down the scuffed polished aluminum, it is now nicely uniform. The problem is it doesn't fit my 1993. I'm assuming it is for 85 to 92. $70 shipped.
