hey guys just got a 90 vmax had carbs cleaned pump turns on for sec and gos off think that the way it works?? gas comes out of line so i think pump works fine?? but will not start. will start and run with help by dripping gas in all carbs will stay running. whats up what am i missing out on...

Have an 04 Vmax. Was installing the K&N air filter. When I had the stock filter out, I noticed a small, thin layer of gas in the front left of the air box when sitting on bike (so closest to clutch level versus throttle). Is that ok? If not, what could be the cause and is this something I need...

I realize the fuel pump fills the carbs after the bike has sat but where does the gas go that it is replacing ? Evaporate ? Or does it go to the engine and end up in the oil ? Thanx for your help .
