Had wet plug, I think I know why. Had air filters off, started bike noticed gas running out of where jet needle seats. What causes that? How do I fix it? Thanks in advance!

Maybe all gas caps are the same, I don't know, but is there a non-locking alternative? I'm trying to streamline gas stops because I need to make them too often, which is about every 60 miles if I don't want to see a warning light or have the display reset itself.

I have a 2006 vmax with 1500k on it. Just bought it. Pulled carbs and cleaned from sitting. Runs good now except when fuel light comes on and seems to run out of gas. I switched the reserve switch but still acts like it runs out of gas. Any suggestions?

well gang I ran outta gas yesterday...my light came on and I got nearly 40 miles on it before she ran out. I switched over to reserve with not results. How does the switch work and what is the point of it?

Ok. I set my dry float levels according to the casting stamp on the jet block like in the dry float level thread. Right now, my #3 carb is overflowing fuel through the overflow tube. What should I look at?

I found this thing in my rubber gas "funnel" the other day and I'm scratching my head. it is u shaped, about three inches tall and 1-2 inches wide, with a lip or hook in the center section. any thoughts or ideas? i'll try and snap a pic later. TIA..........................Neal

Before I put my 85 Max in storage it was just tuned and running better than ever. Unfornunately I left half a tank of gas in it for 7 years. What is the minimum that should be done before running it?
