See Photo The book says to line the appropriate cam index holes up with the mark. On my 99 there is a thin line that looks sorta of like a casting line that is straight up 12 o'clock. Just to the right of that (for all caps, they're all identical except for the location stamping)...

I can't find any posts detailing how to fit up the Marks 4-2 system. I guess it's straight forward, but I know the frustration (and damage :rofl_200:) that comes from doing things the wrong way around. Is there an order that is best? Do the rear engine pipes go on first? Do they cross...

I am looking for pictures/opinions on the black Marks system. I have seen a couple of pictures of FootNotes system, and he has black cans which look OK. I wonder if there are any more pics of fully black systems, and has anyone had one for a while that can tell me how they look after a while...

Well i finally got my Marks exhaust in the mail and have started the task of installing it, i have gotten to the point where i need to start tightening all the bolts to the engine and am having a small problem, it seems that the bolts for the front header is to long and i can't get it tight...

Does Mark exhaust have 2 different 4-2 exhaust headers, one with a crossover and one without? Is that his web sight with the rocket on the cover page? I didn't see anyway to contact them.

Read through a lot of the tuning threads on here, just seeing if this sounds reasonable. 98 V max, stock. Installed the Mark's 4 into 2, shorter cans, 2 inch. My initial jets were 152.5 and upped to 155's, my air screws are all 2.5 turns out. What I've read recommended original jets...

Send an email to marks and as we know he is not an email guy, so i found his number on this forum and called him. Ordered my 4-1 SS headers, i will use a titanium muffler with 2.5 inch inlet-outlet. I am pretty anxious to finish my Vmax and take it out to the streets again...
