04 w/carb issue (I Believe)

Not good news...

Still have the same issue, it runs fine on choke but you can not give it any throttle or it will die.

I have new plugs, new fuel filter and completed the shotgun process.

One thing I noticed was that the fuel filter does not fill up. It is about a quarter full and kind of trickles in occasionally.

How full should it get?

I'm thinking the fuel pump is not running appropriately.

It shouldn't fill up as far as I know. At least mine never does.

Sounds normal.

Still sounds like you have to dismantle the carbs and clean everything in the jet block. Your low speed jets seem to be clogged.

I'm betting that you are right. Kind of sucks that it ran fine before sitting for a month in storage.

The small jets clog first. Doesn't take long. I use StarTron when not riding regularly. Seems to slow down the problems caused by ethanol. Also add Seafoam for cleaning. Don't over dose. Use the recommended amounts. Startron is very concentrated.
