There can be a big difference between raw ETs and corrected. I'm not sure if we're talking raw #s here or not.

I've done a raw 11.51 @ 117.34 on my bone stock '85 but that corrects to a 10.97 @ 122.96 by using http://www.modulardepot.com/density.php to correct for weather and track altitude.

Naturally, the corrected #s make me feel more like a track jock (which I definitely am NOT). :)
 
I am pretty sure Kyle is using what he did & not 'corrected' data.
 
I think corrected #s should be used as that puts everyone on a level playing field, or, like everyone running on the same track with the same weather conditions -- except that the traction differences at the starting line can't be corrected for. These correcting charts are very accurate as they're based on tons of drag racing experience.

My 11.51 was at a local track with a 2350' elevation, so that's a substantial disadvantage. One of these days I'd like to run near sea level and cooler temps.

EDIT: So has my bone stock '85 run in the 10's? Raw, no ... corrected, yes.

Go back and read the 1986 Motorcyclist magazine article with Mr Gleason on a Max. Full exhaust and stage 7, find a wide rear wheel to get a 200 or more size tire, preferably a slick, and maybe tie down the front end. Wheelie bars are also cheap and easy but you get away from streetable. Sean once told me of a big guy that did good at the track. The weight aids hookup
 
Last year I ran for the first time, my best time was 11.33 @ 119.3 mph I was running really rich. I'm going to put the 150 mains in and see what my times are. And I have the dyna 3000 in it and ran 10 runs on the most aggressive settings and then checked the other settings and the stock setting gave me a faster mph and time
